An Economist by profession, Mr. Mokhethi Shelile is highly experienced in investment promotion, entrepreneurial development, and economic planning. He is currently a well sought-after consultant following his long service at the Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC) and service to institutions such as the Southern African Development Community (SADC), Former chairperson Lesotho Development Centre Board, helped established Private Sector Competitiveness Project and former board member of Basotho Enterprise Development Corporation (BEDCO), to mention a few. Some of the achievements in his service include the institutionalization of the partial credit guarantee (PCG) scheme for local private sector and study of the regional automotive components value chain. Mr. Shelile won an international award on behalf of LNDC as the best Investment Promotion in the world in 2016.
