Native of Tebellong, Ha Mapote, Ms. Ntšiuoa SEKETE has over 20 years of career progression in Lesotho and across borders. A holder of M.A International Development Management, M.A Media Practice and B.A Théâtre, Drama and French; she headed the Media and Communications Department at the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), a legislative and continental integration Organ of the African Union (AU). She also headed the Communications Department of the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF), a Specialized Agency of the African Union, for Capacity Development. Miss Sekete was Public Relations Manager at the Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC), and Executive Producer at LTV, Lesotho’s public broadcaster. Some of her acquired skills include Investment Promotion, Economic Development, Regional Parliamentary Diplomacy and Capacity Development. Among other things, has served as Board Chair at the Alliance Française de Maseru and Chair of the Students Representative Council at the National University of Lesotho (NUL). She is not only exceptional as a Sesotho language speaker facilitator and promoter, but also fluent in both English and French, and a firm believer in diversity and globalization. She is passionate about preservation of culture, farming, community and youth development, capacity building, charity, and humanitarian work, as well as looking after the welfare of vulnerable and marginalized groups..
