Leader’s Corner

Leader addresses Mokhotlong Community

16 July 2022

A very warm welcome to you fellow members, followers, and supporters of the Revolution for Prosperity (RFP). It gives me great pleasure to be able to communicate with you from this desk. As the election date approaches, I saw it prudent to briefly share with you my outlook and how our Revolution seeks to address the state of Lesotho and to reclaim our pride and glory as a blessed ‘Nation’ among nations.
The RFP has undertaken an extensive analysis to identify the root causes of Lesotho’s problems. Why is Lesotho doing so poorly on social, political and economic development outcomes? What are the symptoms and what is the root cause?
We have thus, made a clear diagnosis of what ails our Kingdom and we have worked hard to develop a manifesto that will enable an RFP government to restore Lesotho’s position amongst progressive nations of the world.
Our analysis reveals Lesotho’s problem as lack of a sovereign economy. In simple terms, We do not have an economy – ‘Ha re na moruo.’ Our Revolution seeks, therefore; to change the status quo through a radical change that is already being witnessed from our various processes and the way we approach or address matters.
At this point, I take this opportunity to invite you to read the RFP 2022 Manifesto and to ensure that you engage with the leadership to better understand and appreciate the ten revolutions, with which RFP hopes to rebuild Lesotho’s economic sovereignty.
I also wish to urge every Mosotho who is eligible to vote, to ensure that they are registered with the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC).
Moruo Ke bophelo!
